After 16 years in the orchestra classroom and being recognized as Oklahoma’s 2014 State Teacher of the Year, I left public school teaching to pursue creating and sharing music full-time. I found my way back to education, however, joining the faculty at Oklahoma City University as Director of Music Education, and with great fortune, I still have opportunities to perform.

I strive to write uplifting and encouraging lyrics paired with beautiful, simple melodies. As a solo artist, my performances center on Live-Looping. Using my violin, guitar, beat-box, and voice, I create songs live in front of audiences with nothing pre-recorded. The build-up is worth it, and we always have a good time!

The greatest fortune in my musical life has been having parents who believed music was an essential part of the home. A close second has been making music with my musical partner of more than three decades, Kyle Dillingham. Together, we perform with the belief that Music Changes Lives –– it has the power to inspire, encourage, and heal. We’ve been fortunate to witness that power everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry to an OKC Thunder halftime show and in more than forty countries around the world.
